www.erle.co.uk Erle is a real Master - not a self proclaimed one - he's been graded in China - and has created hundreds of books and videos on Combat / Dim Mak. Erle has Instructors in virtually every country in the World. Many of the top people in other martial arts train with Erle and study his training material ! Some are open about this and give the credit they should - and some do it on the quiet !... L O L Erle probably knows more about Dim Mak than any other person alive today. He was trained by a Master in the lineage to Master Yang Lu Chan - (Do your own research and find out who that is...) Here's more... Erle Montaigue is in direct lineage to the masters of old who created the greatest fighting and healing systems ever known in China. He has been practicing the martial/healing art of T'ai Ji Ch'uan since 1968. In 1985, Erle and eight of his students became the first Westerners to be asked to perform at the all China National Wushu Tournament in Yinchuan China. There, Erle was tested by four of the world's greatest Chinese masters and was awarded the degree of "MASTER", the only Westerner to be given this honour. Erle now regards Chang Yiu-Chun as his main teacher from whom he learnt the "Old Yang Style" & The Dim-Mak. Our Club in Northwood is run under the auspices of Erle and we are very pleased that he has moved to the UK from Australia By Erle Montaigue "Chang Yiu-chun was my main teacher in the internal arts. I met him down by the docks in Sydney when I was a chauffer and would see this old man practicing something that looked like Taiji. Eventually, I plucked up enough courage to get out of the limo and watch, he would not even acknowledge that I was there, not even when I did my own Taiji form in my chauffeur's outfit would he even look. After many months I was able to gain his attention by performing some faster forms and this aroused the ego that was still left in him. I then discovered that he was one of only
three students of the Grandson of the founder of the Yang
style Taiji, Yang Shou-hou, the style that was never
changed from what Yang Lu-ch'an had invented way back
then. Whoever learns this form or even sees it performed looks on in awe at such a beautifully powerful and still set of movements, rolling by in complete harmony with nature and the internal flow of Qi (energy), with the occasional explosive energy, (fa-jing) movement representing the Great River and its mostly flowing softly but often violent actions. This form of Taijiquan is why we have the lofty name of "Supreme Ultimate Boxing" (Taijiquan), because it was and is the highest form of Taijiquan, the very pinnacle of the Inte
rnal Martial/Healing
Arts." |
