What is Fa-Jing Ch'uan

Effective, violent fighting methods necessary to deal with realistic armed and unarmed confrontations. Realistic but safe training methods. You will be put under pressure when you are ready. Usually after a year or so.

Sophisticated pressure point fighting. Everyone has the same weak points on the  body no matter how huge and strong the opponent is. You will learn all about these weak points and how to get at them to end the fight quickly.  

 

Extreme close range power.

Skilled practitioners are capable of knocking someone out from only one inch away.  

 

Utilises the techniques from two of the most feared and devastating *Dim-Mak Chinese martial arts: Taijiquan - Supreme Ultimate Boxing and Bagwazhang - Eight Diagram Palm.

Bagwazhang contains the very best of Shoalin Temple Boxing as well as the very best of the Wudang Shan arts (Wudang is a sacred mountain in China, where all of the internal Martial arts were said to have emanated). Internal Martial arts are also known as Buddhism and Toaist Martial arts.

 

Our club does not focus on techniques that only work in theory but never in practice.

   

We train to help each other progress and learn to defend ourselves. There are no egos at our Club.  

 

Proficiency in all ranges, with or without weapons, against one or multiple opponents, in a variety of environments.  

 

Kicking, Punching, Grabs, Clinches, Joint Locking and Ground work. And also the weapons that one is most likely to encounter in a street situation or need to use, i.e. sticks and knives. 

   

We teach a ‘Way’ of moving using relaxation to gain incredible speed and power.

Fa-Jing Ch'uan is an 'internal' martial art, which means we do not rely on muscular strength but body structure and utilising the power of the whole body as oppose to isolated muscles.  

 

We place a special emphasis on stealth, evasion and surprise so that the attacker's 'switches' are confused.  

 

Trying to gain power by building huge muscles does not work - as you tend to build up the wrong muscles. 

 

We train you to build the correct muscle groups as well as gaining the power of the whole body not only the arms for instance. 

 

We use ancient and modern methods to condition the body into a supremely fit, powerful and strong fighting machine.  

 

Ancient Qi Gong methods and 'Qi' (life force energy) enhancing exercises are an integral part of our system.
