Having seen hundreds of students, I would say that those who come in with a lot of gusto and initial enthusiasm often drop out. This seems the opposite of what you’d expect.
The ones who are a bit more emotionally balanced seem to do better and last the course.
Slowly chip away at it every day. Sometimes blast it. Sometimes coast. But always keep chipping away. If you can’t practice, then contemplate. If you can’t contemplate then read. If you can’t do anything watch a video of someone doing the forms. But do something every day and you’ll get there.
It’s about the journey…and what you learn on the way. And how you change and develop on that journey….
