Outnumbered ? More Like A Target Rich Environment…
I really like this phrase, it epitomises the mental attitude needed for any chance of survival in a multiple attacker situation.
Bringing the fight to the attackers is what MARA is all about.
Everything in MARA has been designed to avoid the ‘sitting duck’ scenario.
Everything in MARA has been designed to avoid the defensive, passive victim mindset.
The defensive mind set is the victim mind-set.
The active, offensive, animalistic mind-set, is the only one that has any place in real combat, especially multiple enemy combat.
MARA is about giving you the mind set to operate in this somewhat dispassionate and clinical fashion.
In any event, I liked the positivity of the phrase alluded to in the title of this newsfeed.
In my mind, it conjures images of the classical British ‘stiff upper lip’ which was much more prevalent in years gone by, and which in part explains how we got through the last major war and defeated the enemy despite overwhelming odds.
Anyway, bring this mind set into your MARA training, the phrase has great validity.
